Love the metal medal in preference to the wooden ones

The start was a bit congested as too many people on narrow paths and a lot of pedestrians and dogs to avoid. Not a course to get a good time but it was very well organised and the marshalls were friendly and supportive. Well done everyone x

Well organised, great marshals.

The marshals were fab but special mention must go to the lady at the top of both steep inclines - she was hysterical.
There were 3 or 4 areas which were very tight to get through due to returning runners & members of the public. There were also a few places where I almost went the wrong way - 2 friends actually did get lost twice - a few more yellow arrows would have been really helpful.
The views at the top of the first hill were fantastic - very friendly registration peeps & lovely helpers

I would recommend another water station at the end of the sea front as heard a few moaning there was not enough

Easier access to water at the finish would be good.
Also it would be great if the start/finish could be on the seafront.

Kids handing out medals right ON the very finish line , loved them but should b back a bit

A better start location with easier parking next time please!

couldnt hear the race brief very clearly, and what i could hear was far too much info to retain. This all needs putting in an email before race.
Lots of people queing up still at 9.55am to get their numbers, race didnt start prompt at 10am, also maybe incorporate a warm up at the start.
Certain areas thoughtout the byes was very narrow,restricting people being able to pass(nothing you can do about this, but worth a mention).
all in all a good first attempt at organising this race,and thanks to all marshalls and helpers.

It was described as mainly flat ! This was not the case
Very narrow at the start unable to overtake slower runners
Unclear where to go at the end as both my friend and I missed our drink and snack to start and we finagled separately

Like the tag system , hopefully it worked well. A couple of extra arrows needed or Marshal's in a couple of places on the route. Marshalls very encouraging.

Hills were much steeper & longer than advertised - nothing wrong with hills as long as you’re expecting them. Medals were nice but a t-shirt would be more useful.
